The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club’s Spindrift 9-hole, par-3 golf course is designed to accommodate every level of player from beginner to single digit handicappers. Open daily from 9 a.m. to sunset daily.

Golf Services

Junior Golf Academy

An afternoon clinic for children of all ages and playing ability. Participants begin with SNAG (Start New at Golf) practice golf clubs, graduate to actual clubs and then are videotaped for technical analysis. The Academy will teach, entertain and prepare children to enjoy golf for years to come. To participate  in an upcoming clinic, please arrive five minutes prior to register your child at the driving nets.
Ages 3 to 5: Fridays from 4 to 5 p.m. / $20
Ages 7 to 10: Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. / $20

Private golf video analysis and lessons

The Club offers state-of-the-art video analysis that allows you to see your swing and pinpoint areas for improvement and put the world's greatest golfers alongside your swing for comparison. Also your video clip will be emailed to you for future reference to enable you to practice correctly and take what you have learned onto the golf course.
Available Tuesday–Saturday by appointment only.
40-minute session: $80
60-minute session: $85

Adult Clinics

These instrumental programs are run by our Head Golf Professional. During each clinic a group lesson is given on various aspects of golf, including full swing, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker play, trouble shots and more. The lesson is then followed by a round of golf, providing the opportunity to receive additional instruction in playing situations. The adult clinics are a great way to meet fellow golf enthusiasts, further your golf skills and have fun!
Beginners/Seniors: Thursdays from 9–10:30 a.m. / $20
Advanced Short Game: Fridays from 3–4 p.m. / $20

Junior Golf Summer Camps

Open to all skill levels, ages 4–15. Camps cover many aspects of golf including putting, chipping, pitching, sand shots,  full swing, course management, rules, etiquette and club fitting. Morning camps for ages 4–6 and afternoon camps for ages 7–15 are available weekly June 11–August 28. Camps are limited to a maximum of 10 students. Cost is $195 per child.
Ages 4–6: Monday–Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon, lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m.
Ages 7–15: Monday–Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m., lunch from 12:30 to 1 p.m.

*Please note June 11–12 (Tues–Wed) and July 15–16 (Mon–Tues) are two-day only camps. On these weeks cost is $130 per child.
