Tournament Background Information
The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club enjoys a 75-year tradition of hosting tennis tournaments and tennis pros from around the world, including Pancho Gonzales, Jack Kramer, Ted Schroeder, Maureen Connolly, Billie Jean King, Stan Smith, Arthur Ashe, Roscoe Tanner, and John McEnroe.
The Club is home to annual national tennis tournaments, including the Pacific Coast Men’s Doubles Championships, USTA National Hard Court Championships for the Women’s 50-90, USTA National Men’s & Women’s 40 & Over Hard Courts, and the USTA National Father & Son Hard Court Championships. The Club also hosted the 2008 Fed Cup, and was also the proud host of the 2006 Davis Cup First Round Tie between the United States and Romania.
Attendees are invited to experience and indulge in the Club's Snack Bar and Club Dining restaurant and bar during tournaments.

These websites have information about each tournament such as tournament dates, entry deadlines, entry fees, social events, lodging information, expected schedule of play, etc. The tournament websites also contain a link to register online. You will need to join the USTA before registering to play in these tournaments if you are not already a current member.
How to register participate in a sanctioned tournaments:
1. Become a member of the USTA.
2. Register for the tournament online.
3. Play! Draws are posted the Wednesday before the tournament. Go to the tournament site to see your draw times and more information.
